VI.  El sistema nacional de salud, de manera gratuita, debera precautelar la libre decision, la salud y la vida de la nina, adolescente o mujer, y no podra negar la interrupcion del embarazo ni su atencion integral en los casos previstos en el paragrafo precedente alegando objecion de conciencia y estara obligado a mantener el secreto profesional.

 

VI.  The national health system, free of charge, should protect free choice, health and life of the child, adolescent or woman, and cannot deny the interruption of the pregnancy or its integral attention in the cases provided for in the previous paragraph claiming conscientious objection and shall be bound to maintain professional secrecy.

El rechazo o negativa a realizar la intervencion medica para la interrupcion voluntaria del embarazo por objecion de conciencia, es una decision siempre individual del personal medico o sanitario, directamente implicado en la realizacion del acto medico, que debe manifestarse anticipadamente por esctito.

The provisions of this paragraph are not applicable in serious or urgent cases in which the intervention is indispensable. Every public health service must ensure that care is effectively provided by another non-objecting health professional.
